Teen camp is for young people ages 14-15 who either have LGBTQ parents, or who are themselves LGBTQ or questioning. Teen camp is designed with teen interests in mind, offering teens a fun and interesting camping experience with other teen campers as well as participation in challenging activities. Teen campers learn skills that help them connect with others, lead in their communities and work for social justice. There is also ample time to enjoy canoeing, art, drama, nature and other fun activities, both as a group and with young campers.Another exciting component of the teen program is an overnight trip planned and designed to build self-esteem, and teamwork skills through special supervised activities like rock climbing and high ropes courses.
When campers turn sixteen they have the opportunity to join the Staff in Training program.
Teen campers also participate in a Diversity and Leadership Training Program.
